Rooms at Hotel Raquel
The Hotel Raquel, three-storey building, has 25 rooms, very comfortable and roomy, which stand out to be identified by biblical names and to be decorated with Cuban prestigious artists' paintings.
This way, the 11 rooms of the first floor take qualifying of men: Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Samuel, José, Benjamin, Rubén, Jeremías, Elías, Nehemías and David; while those of the second floor possess women's names: Esther, Rebeca, Sarah, Read, Ruth, Miriam, Tamar, Séfora, Elizabeth and Hanna; besides a junior suite with Salomón's name; and in the third floor there are three rooms that were called as places of the Holy Land: Galilee, Sinaí and Jordan.
All the rooms of the Hotel Raquel has a balcony and picture windows with view at the one of the streets that skirts this installation.
In the first and second floor exist 10 standard rooms and one of the type junior suite, respectively. In the third floor, there are three rooms, one standard room, and two of the modality junior suite.
Junior Suites Rooms Deatails
The Hotel Raquel has 4 Junior Suites arranged according to good taste, very roomy and they imparts an absolute exclusivity to the stay thanks to their wide windows, folding leaves’ door. They all have balconies with views over the surrounding streets and are elegantly decorated in a similarly pale, creamy colour palette to the standard rooms.
It was used in all the rooms the blended wood with modern elements next to soft colors to achieve a having of peace and harmony.
Standard Rooms Details
The Hotel Raquel has 21 standard rooms very pleasant, with a mixture of well-designed dark wood and wrought iron furniture and curtains and upholstery in creamy colours.
The ceilings are high and some rooms have lovely stone balconies overlooking the roofs of Old Havana. Bathrooms are pleasantly bright with blue and cream tiling. There are only 2 standard rooms with matrimonial beds. The other 19 are twin bedded.
